BAND HEATERS
Band & nozzle heaters are
ideal for every type of plastics processing equipment. These
heaters are manufactures of high quality mica or micanite sheet
& are Nickel Chrome resistance. It is covered by metal sheathing
& can be rolled to the required shape. The use of mica is cost
effective, allows the weight of the heater to be kept to a minimum
and accelerating heat transfer through the sheath of the heater
& into & the object requiring heat. Band heaters operate
efficiently when the sheath temperatures are kept below 250oC. If
this temperature is maintained, the life of the band heaters gets
long.
